Sponsored by OE Global and the Community College Consortium for OER- Faculty, librarians, instructional designers, academic technologists, other staff, and administrators from a range of public and private institutions, from 2-year colleges to 4-year R1’s are encouraged to apply. The RLOE Network Leadership Program supports leaders to build individualized strategic plans for Open Education that align with existing campus goals to support underserved and underrepresented students. Our programming helps leaders structure plans that integrate the use, application, and development of open education resources (OER) and open educational practices (OEP). The first RLOE Cohort completed their initial learning intensive in November 2021 and the Invitation to participate is open for the Jan/Feb and May/June cohorts. The deadline for applying for Jan/Feb (Cohort #2) is Jan 14, 2022. Please contact, Dr. Karen Cangialosi (RLOE program director) with any questions. "When you have been piecing parts of what you know about "Open" and OERs together, you don't know what you know and whether it is enough. This program offers a huge benefit the way it ties all of these dimensions together. No matter where on the spectrum you are coming in, there is enough to move you to the next level." The cost is only $200 and scholarships are available for anyone who needs one. |
