Description

Rachel Hendricks graduated from Davidson College, North Carolina in May of 2021, where she focused her studies on Biology and Data Science. She currently works at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a National Institute of Health (NIH) postbaccalaureate fellow working on germline genetics of bone marrow failure disorders. This LWS talk covered her undergraduate research in Dr. Karen Bernd's lab, studying the effects of tobacco aerosol exposure generated by a standard hookah pipe at the air-liquid interface on type II alveolar cell viability.

It was exciting listening to the remarkable work this undergraduate student achieved.
