Jeff Hawkins has worked in meteorology since the 1970s. He talks to us about why he is interested in hurricanes, how he got into the field, highlights what the experience of flying into a hurricane is like, and talks about all of the research he is involved with. Not only this but he discusses work opportunities in the field as well, an important component that is not often discussed with students going through their STEM programs.
