Description

This take-home exam part has several creative activities that students can choose from to demonstrate their mastery of concepts in my one-semester General Biochemistry survey course.  In addition to the exam instructions, also included is a song list that students can choose from if they opt for the explain a song option of the exam. The other two parts of their final exam include a multiple choice exam (checking for understanding of key concepts), and essay exam (synthesis).
