Scientific research is integrated into various stages of student learning, but hands-on involvement in the research process typically begins at the university level. This module aims to engage high school students in STEM research, specifically through a mosquito study. Students will collect mosquitoes from their school area and use microscopes to identify them. To do this, they need to understand what a mosquito is, its life cycle, and species characteristics. This module will cover all these aspects, integrating universal design and accessibility to promote an inclusive STEM education.
