Scientific, leadership and recent artificial intelligence skills are integral frameworks of the curriculum. All of them together or individually can enhance knowledge, critical thinking and creativity. Physics is a branch of science and a scientific discipline in which we study the science of matter. The properties of matter impacts the behavior and motion of matter. The matter exists in different states of matter - solid, liquid, gas and plasma. The substances can transition between these phases as they absorb the heat from the environment. The matter is made up of molecules which are both in static and motion phase in solid, liquid, gas and plasma which regulates the mass and volume of the matter. Packing of the states of matter and the properties of matter also impacts the movement of molecules, collision of molecules, friction and force. This lesson will highlight the matter, states of matter and properties of matter to provide key concepts in physics.

Description

In this lesson students will learn concepts of states of matter, properties of matter - its application to biology and chemistry. Further students will apply knowledge and skills to understand the impact of micro-environment on states of matter, properties of matter - change in mass, volume and shape. Apply and explore the role of matter and its properties in everyday life and other life processes for example collisions , motion, force and mass - how they change due to micro-environment. Students will be taught using powerpoint slides and videos. Students will engage in learning activities to advance knowledge and attain both transferable and transversal skills. Students will also participate in individual and group work taking up leadership roles, exploring simulations, and applying artificial intelligence tools to learn about biological chemistry. Students for engagement evidence will utilize Google tools.
