Be an active participant for the entirety of the network
To accomplish this goal, you must:
- Attend all of your working group meetings
- Post responses to assignment prompts in the forum
- Post a reflection of your adaptation
Adapt an OCELOTS module during the Fall 2024 semester
Choose one of our published OCELOTS modules and identify the course within a specific part of a curriculum in which the module will be used. Then adapt this OCELOTS module within the Gala platform so that the module fits your curricular needs. Document what changes were needed, and/or barriers that were overcome in adapting this module. If you have a question, please don't hesitate to ask one of your group leaders.
Share your final products on Gala and the QUBES Hub
We ask that you publish your adapted module on Gala (a very simple touch of a button). We a ask that you share the changes that were needed in the module, and how you overcame any barriers for using the module in your academic setting (e.g., course and curriculum materials) on the QUBES Hub site. Also, please share your instructor story with the community. More detailed instructions on this process will be posted in early September.
We understand that scheduling meetings for a group of very busy faculty participants is difficult. If you have an unexpected conflict and are unable to attend a meeting, please let your group leaders know in advance.
