• Biography

  I use several evidence-based teaching strategies in my classroom including team-based learning, project-based learning, and learning through case studies. I am currently involved in Biology Education Research. I am interested in studying the development of science literature identification and evaluation skills in students using project-based interventions. I have also recently become interested in harnessing the power of games to enhance student learning of biological concepts. Games are a source of enjoyment for most age-groups, but they can also be incredibly useful tools in the learning environment.
