Avida-ED is a digital evolution software program.  The Avida-ED MSU team has created a series of exercises that introduce students to both the program as well as evolutionary concepts, for example students explore whether mutations are directed or random.  Instructors are welcome to use any of the current exercises or develop/modify exercises for their respective courses.  In addition, students can use Avida-ED to carry out independent research focusing on evolutionary questions.
