The Environmental Data Sciences Inclusion Network (EDSIN) works to strengthen initiatives across existing alliances and organizations to recruit and retain individuals from underrepresented groups in environmental data science careers.  

EDSIN realizes the power in sharing our stories. Therefore, we are launching the #IAmSTEM social media campaign during 2019 SACNAS - The National Diversity in STEM Conference (#SACNAS2019).

Want to participate? It’s as easy as 1-2 (and an optional 3)!

Step 1: Snap a picture of yourself with your phone or tablet.

Step 2: Post your image and your STEM story to social media (Twitter or Instagram) using handle @edsinetwork and hashtags #IAmSTEM and #SACNAS2019. Please note that we hope to retweet and share these stories widely via social media.

Step 3 (optional): You can customize a polaroid image (see below) by downloading the free “InstaLab” app to your smartphone or tablet. Please note that any text written on the image is not accessible to screen readers and should be repeated in a tweet or post.
