This poster outlines the approach to our research on science identity and quantitative skills. Our approach includes an established educational researcher to assure that our design, approach, instruments, and metrics address the core research question: Can a real-world case study and an interview with the scientist increase engagement, self-efficacy, and promote science identity and "buy-in" of the importance of quantitative skills.
