Nucleic acid are biological molecules composed of nitrogen-containing bases, phosphate groups, and sugar molecules. The complimentary chemical bonding results in formation of double stranded DNA. This double stranded DNA as a base template forms RNA through transcription and finally amino acid chain /protein ( protein polypeptide) through translation. The nucleotide diversity exist between genes and organisms due to which both genotype and phenotype varies.
