This QUBES module introduces high school students to the exciting world of field surveys using trail cameras. Designed for environmental science classes, the module offers a hands-on approach to understanding how trail cameras can be used to study wildlife and their habitats. Students will learn essential skills such as selecting survey sites, placing cameras effectively, and identifying local species from the images captured. Through engaging activities and collaborative projects, participants will explore data collection, analysis, and the importance of ethical practices in wildlife observation.
