Abstract

These are the .ode files that XPP takes as input.

  • lv.ode is the Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model
  • rm.ode is the Rosenzweig-MacArthur model
  • rm3.ode is the Rosnezweig-MacArthur model but with predation following a Holling Type III functional response.

The file rm.ode is already non-dimensioqnalized, while the other two models are in standard form. Once in XPP, the user can adjust the initial conditions and the parameter values as they see fit. This process is described in the Chapter and in other XPP instructional material.
