Biography
I am currently a graduate student with 6 years of experience in Biomathematics research. My undergraduate work focused on the population dynamics of endangered species and the development of mathematics curriculum at the college-level. I currently attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, as part of their Ecology and Evolutionary Biology PhD program. During my graduate career, I plan to also obtain a Masters Degree in Statistics as part of the UTK IGSP. My dissertation work will focus on the spatial distribution of social epidemics and the best methods of controlling spread. Following my doctoral studies, I plan to pursue mathematical modeling research as a staff scientist.
