  • Biography
I am an applied mathematician from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In my PhD thesis (2020), I used a topological method called Branched Manifold Analysis through homologies to study the behavior of particles in a fluid and to recognise regions of non-mixing in fluids. My research focuses on understanding the dynamics of complex nonlinear systems using mathematical tools such as topological data analysis and chaos topology.
I am a postdoctoral student working on Topological Data Analysis (TDA) applied to Climate Dynamics. Since February 2024 I have a postdoctoral position at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE) in Paris, France. The position is part of the ESTIMR (Extremes-Statistics-Impacts-Regionalisation) team at the LSCE. This team focuses on the study of extreme weather events. My main activity is the topological analysis of climate data, with a special focus on extreme weather events.
