Abstract
This presentation introduces the philosophy, structure, and scope of the ESTEEM project, including terms for use. Three pedagogical approaches to integrating math and biology in the classroom, differing in how closely students interact with the underlying mathematical model, are illustrated with lesson plan overviews for specific ESTEEM modules.
