This will be my first QUBES meeting! I have been a biology lab coordinator at Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC) for about a decade. During that time we have been making steady process in developing undergraduate labs using publicly-available, large data sets. I am very excited to expand my knowledge and see how we could be doing a better job of educating undergrads using data science.
Looking forward to meeting you! I have been working (slowly) at getting more data science incorporated into my own courses and would love to chat more about this.
