• Biography

  I am a tenure-track faculty member at Columbia College Chicago a liberal arts institution with a focus on the arts and media.  My PhD is in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  My interests include regulation of glutamate receptor abundance at the synapse, mentoring non-majors in undergraduate scientific research, and improvement of non-majors undergraduate biology education and assessment through use of backwards design.
