• Biography

  I am a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Health and Medical sciences, University of Copenhagen (UCPH), and at Statens Serum Institut, Denmark. Currently, I am studying on the transmission dynamics of livestock-associated Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus from animals to humans. My primary research interest is on host-microbes interaction, antimicrobial resistance mechanism and evolution, microbial genomics, controlling the spread of drug resistant pathogens from animals to humans, and discovery of new strategies for the diagnosis and therapy of bacterial infections. In my leisure, I read fiction, thriller, watch movies, visit historical places, and like to capture the natural landscape.
