From Planning to Publishing:

Step 1: Implementation Plan 

Implementation plans are the beginning of the process. These are a semi-private (to your group) place for you to get your thoughts together before implementing their materials. The links to our implementation plans are located in the quick links page. These should assist you in your implementation. The reflection questions at the end will also help set the tone for the next portion of this process.

Step 2: Teaching Notes (As implemented, as soon as possible)

Teaching notes are the ready-to-share version of the Implementation Plan and an important piece of the final product for your FMN. The teaching notes allow other QUBES visitors to use the materials with the smallest amount of work on their part (a huge part of the OER life cycle as well as increasing the likelihood of your materials being used). This should be done fairly soon after implementation, so that everything is fresh in your mind.

Step 3: Before You Start Publishing 

This document is a guide to go along with the Information for Authors article that really gets into the why and how of Open Educational Resources on QUBES, including lots of great tips and tricks. The document here has spaces for all the necessary parts of the OER, which will allow the you to simply copy and paste text into the publication pipeline.

Step 4: Publication 

This will be the step by step instructions on Final Products, or the module that has been worked into your FMN. With the other materials in hand, this part should be a breeze!
