Biography
I am a lifelong learner with a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, going back to school for my M.A. in interdisciplinary studies focused on federal policy and how it may influence STEM student success, identity formation, and belonging. I teach chemistry and am a former director for the MESA Program at Tacoma Community College - a program focused on supporting first-generation students, students on financial aid, students of color, women and other marginalized populations transfer to earn their bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
