Overview: 
Deep Teaching Residency-II (DTR-II) participants will leave this experience with a specific plan to further their inclusive aims during the academic year 2020/21. Plans will reflect lessons from the implementation that occurred in Spring 2020, as well as the unique features of the post-COVID higher education landscape. As always, we will pay special attention to issues of equity, which have been heightened by the increased awareness coming from a turbulent summer in the United States.

To this end, the specific aims of DTR-II is to

  • Help participants cultivate an inclusive teaching plan for the 2020/2021 academic year
  • Provide support for equitable online teaching practices
  • Centralize the role of antiracism in inclusive teaching
