Sorry all
I am still buried deep in overdue projects. I plan to put files in here and organize sub project groups.
Meanwhile those interested in the water/lead pollution might visit

I'd like to bring your attention to a an initiative sponsored by the Society for the Advancement in Biology Education Research (SABER) focused on promoting awareness, understanding and commitment to change academic biology environments to be more inclusive and strive for racial justice in STEM education called "A call to action: Striving for racial justice in academic biology". This 7-part series includes four discussions and three research seminars with the intended audience of biologists and biology education researchers. All 1-hour sessions will be virtual and administered through Zoom; sessions will be recorded and posted on the SABER website for viewing afterwards.
From the advertisement: "SABER has been focused on how we can make our organization more inclusive and specifically anti-racist. One initiative that we are implementing during the fall term is that we are sponsoring a discussion series entitled "A call to action: Striving for racial justice in academic biology." We have invited speakers who are primarily people of color to discuss issues of race, equity, diversity, and inclusion to lead 1-hr discussions or seminars virtually on Zoom. The intended audience for the series is anyone in a biology department (biologists and biology education researchers), although anyone in STEM would likely benefit from the series.
All discussions/seminars will be virtual and the days/times are different for each one to try to accommodate differences in teaching schedules. We hope that people can make the Zoom meeting, but if not, all sessions will be recorded and posted on the SABER website for anyone to view afterwards."
The first seminar will be by David Asai of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute
