S-JEDI learning community/reading group opportunity
Dear SCORE community,
Given the current events and the difficult discussions, particularly about anti-racist work in the academy, SCORE Network is pleased to announce we are launching a learning community this week to support OER-related organizations. We will meet weekly for 6 weeks to discuss and unpack a variety of readings to build common language around race and racism and connect ideas such as critical inquiry to OER and undergraduate STEM education. The goal of the learning community will be support each other while we reflect and consider actions consistent with the principles of social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We are thrilled that Jasmine Roberts has agreed to serve as an expert mentor and Pat Marsteller as a co-organizer for this group.
To join, go to the SCORE group, and in the forum discussion thread (you must be logged in as a SCORE group member to view the forum discussion) that has been started, introduce yourself with the prompt suggested. If you are not yet in the SCORE group, log-in with your QUBES account and click “join group” on the left navigation. We will use the forum as the communication tool for this reading group, so also, please check your forum email subscriptions.
Meeting dates/times: Please go to the S-JEDI learning communities Forum for Zoom link for the meetings.
Mondays - 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (Eastern), June 22nd - July 27th.
Tuesdays - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Eastern), June 23rd - July 28th.
If you are interested in the discussion, but unable to commit to participating, we would like to invite you to follow along asynchronously through the forum area, either actively or passively.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi,
I see all this STUFF, but just tell me where I go on Day 1 to locate, sign in, and engage in the live discussion, Simple Simon says, "Do this. . . . . . please fill in the blank." Moreover, I do not mind you repeating in in several places either. Thank you. Meeting dates/times: Mondays - 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (Eastern), June 22nd - July 27th
